Spaceship Earth
Under the starry night sky.
You and I, astronauts on this Spaceship Earth,
We’re stardust, after all.
We gaze up at the night sky and wonder.
Are we alone in all of this?
Are there lovers out there?
Is there kindness and peace?
Do other worlds sing and dance?
Our sun spins in the Milky Way,
Waltzing with galaxies.
One giant whirling,
Cosmic unending dance.
CHORUS
We’re stardust, after all.
We travel the starry night sky.
We contemplate this universe,
As we voyage on our Spaceship Earth.
We’re stardust, after all.
Astronauts, you and I.
We contemplate this universe
As we voyage on our Spaceship Earth.
How fragile is our Spaceship Earth,
Wrapped in a thin blue sky,
Given breath by the trees,
Sustained by the seas.
Astronauts, you and I.
We must care for our spaceship earth
As it we Spiral through the universe.
We must love it and marvel.
We’re stardust, after all.
Our sun spins in the Milky Way,
Waltzing with galaxies.
One giant whirling cosmic
Unending dance.
CHORUS
We’re stardust, after all.
We travel the starry night sky.
We contemplate this universe,
As we voyage on our Spaceship Earth.
We’re stardust, after all.
Astronauts, you and I.
We contemplate this universe
As we voyage on our Spaceship Earth.
We’re stardust,
after all.
We’re stardust, after all.
I love sitting in the garden with you
Under the starry night sky.
You and I astronauts on this Spaceship Earth,
We’re stardust, after all.
